Audrey A. Dusek, 73, rural Martin, N.D., the daughter of Ben and Malinda (Liebe) Grochow. She grew up on the family farm north of Martin and attended White Township School in southern Pierce County. As a young woman she was a house-keeper for a family in Billings, Mont. She worked at Albrecht General Merchandise Store in Anamoose, ND, for several years. She married Lawrence Dusek Oct. 17, 1949, in Anamoose, active in its church women and taught Suday school. She was also a bus driver for White Township School for a number of years. She is survived by her husband; seven daughters, Susan Corwin, Jamestown; Deborah (Larry) Schoepp, Lakota, ND; Janice (Kim) Degenstein and Grace (John) Minarik, both Forman, ND; Joan (Chip) Chiapputi, Spring Valley, Calif.; Anette Dusek, Reno, Nev.; and Judy (Tony) Lill, Langdon, ND; four sons, Russell (Alice), Stanley, ND; David (Mary), New Rockford, ND; Lowell (Linda), Anamoose; and James (Anita), Mesa, Ariz.; 21 grandchildren; two sisters, Angelou (Edward) Keller, Anamosa, Iowa; and Grace Weigel, Ames, Iowa; and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents. Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, St. Martin’s Lutheran Cemetery, Anamoose.
