He was born at Dolni Dobrauc, Bohemia. He listed his nationality as German. He was of fair skin, with brown hair, blue eyes, and stood 5'11".
Henry Dusek, 62
Funeral services were held from the St. Francis Xavier Church in Anamoose Monday, April 12th at 9 a. m. for Henry Dusek who passed away at the Harvey hospital April 9th. Father J. M. Belleau officiated at the last rites and the Waydeman Funeral Horne was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Pete Groszman, Edgie Degenstein, Jake Degenstein, Pete Eisenzimmer, Henry Lemmer, and Eddie Groszman.
Mr. Henry Dusek who had reached the age of 62 years, 8 months and 24 days had been in failing health for about a year or more. He was born in Czechslovakia on July 15th, 1891. As a young man he came to this country in 1911 and was a section foreman at Bremen, N. Dak. and later at Aylmer. He followed this work until 1923 when he purchased the farm he operated until his passing.
Mr. Dusek was united in marriage to Miss Rosa Mikula in 1914 at New Rockford, N. Dak. and to this union five children were born, all of whom survive their father. Left to mourn his passing are his wife and five children, Alice, Mrs. A. H. Petermann of West Fargo; Dorothy of Portland, Ore.; and Frank, Robert and Lawrence, all of Anamoose. There are also 15 grandchildren.
