Funeral services were held on Friday, July 15, in the First Lutheran Church here for Mrs. Elizabeth Delzer who passed away July 12 at Fergus Falls, MN. Mrs. Delzer was born in Russia Dec. 16, 1887, and moved to ND 1 year later, settling in Wells County where Mr. Delzer was engaged in farming. In 1933 they retired from farming and moved to Harvey. After her husband’s death in 1938 she made her home with her son, Art Delzer. She accompanied them to Fergus Falls in 1954 and resided with them until her death. She is survived by 5 sons, Louis, Fessenden; Albert, Fox Valley, SK (Canada); Gust, Anamoose; Herbert, Omega, WI; and Arthur, Fergus Falls, MN; 2 daughters, Mrs. Carlton Erickson, Lodi, CA; and Mrs. George Bittis; 37 Grandchildren and 59 great grandchildren. One son, Emanuel, preceded her in death in 1943, a daughter, Rose, in 1939, and 3 sons and 2 daughters died in infancy. Pallbearers were Emil Wiedmeier, Ernie Martinson, Ralph Nelson, Jack Kirton, Leonard Egeland and Maurice Wallin.491
