Floyd C. Thornton, 86, of Tonasket, died Friday, April 14, 2006, at Apple Meadows Care Center in Omak.
He was born in Sunnyslope and moved with his family to Tonasket at an early age. He was a rancher in the Tonasket area and also had an orchard business. Survivors include his wife, Florence Thornton of the home; his children, Dennis Thornton of Tenino, Bruce Thornton and Bob Thornton, both of Oroville; and three sisters, Carol Thornton and Edith Thornton, both of Tonasket, and Lu Weaver of Brewster. Services will be 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Tonasket High School commons, Bob Anderson and Clarence Nelson officiating. Interment will follow at the Tonasket Cemetery. Arrangements are by Bergh Funeral Service, Oroville. 1015
