Barbara Patterson
CASHMERE -- Barbara (Birdy) Patterson, 72, long-time North Central Washington resident, died Wednesday (15 Dec 1971) at a Wenatchee hospital.
She was born Oct. 20, 1899, in Seattle, and moved to Monitor with her family in the early 1900s. She grew up there and was married to Floyd Patterson on April 19 (or 2), 1920, at Bellingham.
They lived at Cashmere before moving to Holden. In 1959, they returned to make their home at Cashmere.
Mrs. Patterson was a member of the Cashmere Methodist Church and the Rebekah Lodge.
Surviving are her husband, Floyd Patterson, Cashmere; one son, Harold Patterson, Richland; two granddaughters; two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Bill Holzhauser, El Cajon, CaIif., Alvin Holzhauser, Lynnwood, and Tom Tillman, Washington, D.C.; and two sisters, Mrs. Wendell Cone, East Wenatchee, and Mrs. Mary Griffin, Bend, Ore.
Braun Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
BARBARA PATTERSON--Services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. from the Cashmere Methodist Church with Rev. Harry Garrison officiating. Burial will be in the Cashmere Cemetery. Arrangements by Braun Funeral Home.
