• Michael Finley emigrated from Parish Mulleghbrack, County Armagh, Ireland, to the American Colonies with his wife and family on the brig "Eagle Wing", landing in Philadelphia on September 28, 1734. From there, they migrated to
Neshaminy Creek, Bucks County, Pennasylvania. Michael Finley was 50 years old

• Michael Finley was a farmer in Sadsbury Township, Chester County,
Pennesylvania, where he was taxed as late as 1747. He and his wife, Ann
O"Neill, had 9 children, 7 of which were male, all of whome were born in
Ireland and emigrated to America with their parents, and many of whom attained
prominence. Two of their sons, Andrew and George, eventually migrated to

County, Pennsylvania," or more likely, in 1747 at Neshaminy Creek, Bucks

Michael Finley immegrated to America with his family in 1734. He landed at Philadelphia September 28, 1734. He settled first on Neshaminy Creek in Bucks Co., PA and later in Sadsbury Township, Chester Co., PA.
In the year 1734 , with his family of nine and his brother Archibald emigrated to America, landing in Philadelphia, Pa. Sept. 28,1734. He first settled on the Neshaminy Creek, Bucks Co., Pa. thence to western New Jersey, from there to Sadsbury Township, Chester Co., Pa. where his name with that of Michael Jr. occurs on the tax list as late as 1747. He and his wife were staunch Presbyterians. He was a farmer, Elder, and he gave his sons, while in Ireland as well as in America, the best education that his means could afford.
His marriage to Ann O'Neill, at Magherienten, Parish of Mullaghabrac, County Armagh, Ireland was solemnized on July 12, 1712, by the Reverend George Hall.
