Notes for Julianna Katie Krause (Reddinger)
Delzer, Julianna Katie Krause Reddinger: (added; b. 1872; d. 1958) “Funeral services were held on Friday for Julianna K. Delzer, who died at a Spokane nursing home, where she had spent several months. Services were held at a Spokane chapel, the Rev E G Klein officiating. Burial followed with graveside services in the Odessa Cemetery. Mrs. Delzer was a resident of North Dakota and came here several years ago to wed an Odessa pioneer, Ludwig C Delzer, and they made their home here until advancing old age caused her to enter the Spokane home for care. Mother Delzer was born in Odessa, Russia in 1872. On Feb 29 she would have been 86 years old. Her parents came to the United States and settled in New Leipzig, North Dakota, later moving to Hebron, North Dakota. Her maiden name was Julianna Katie Krause. She married Mr. Delzer at Odessa, WA, in 1936. She had been ill for the past three years and had been in a nursing home for much of that time. Two sons and one daughter came from Montana and North Dakota to the funeral.” (Odessa Record: Jan 1958; Beck data card collection) “Julianna K. Delzer.
