Taste It First
Mom was washing clothes in the pantry and Geraldine and I were upstairs playing house.  Geraldine had a set of toy dishes and she was dishing us up.  She put a spoonful of this stuff on my plate and one on her plate, she said, "Now you taste it first".  Soon I was running downstairs screaming that I was poisoned as my mouth was burning real bad.  Dad took a stick of butter and shoved it into my mouth as they found out that Geraldine had served me Lye.  I am not real fond of butter to this day.  -Gerald Delzer

Now You Told It All
I used to become very frustrated with my twin sister at times.  We arrived home on the first day of school and I was so excited to tell about the days events, but Geraldine started telling everything first.  I stood looking at her and after she was done talking, I slapped her across the face and said, "now you told it all".  -Gerald Delzer
