Emma Dicie Pyeatt

MOUNT VERNON--Emma Dicie Pyeatt, 91, formerly of Tonasket, died in Mount Vernon Tuesday, Dec. 13, 1988.
She was born Nov. 27, 1897, at Bedford, Va., to Charlie and Lula Musgrove. At age 4 she moved with her parents to a homestead near Quincy. They later moved to Cashmere, and she graduated from Wenatchee High School. She married Preston T. Pyeatt March 31, 1924, at Waterville and they moved to Tonasket. They moved to Mount Vernon in 1971, and Mr. Pyeatt died in 1983.
She was a member of a non-denominational body of Christians.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Dick (Laura) Sjogren, Mount Vernon, and Mrs. John (Eileen) Zones, Waterville; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a sister, two brothers and a daughter.
Kern Funeral Chapel, Mount Vernon, is in-charge of arrangements.
EMMA DICIE PYEATT-Funeral services will be held in the Kern Funeral Chapel, Mount Vernon, Saturday, Dec. 17 at 11 a.m. Burial In the Lynden Cemetery.
