Harry Thomas Clark
Harry Thomas Clark, 70, pioneer Waterville wheat rancher, died in a Spokane hospital Feb. 22. He was born September 8, 1885, at Harrisburg, Oregon, and in May of 1888 came to Washington with his parents. He received his grade schooling at the country school near his farm home and later graduated from Acme Business College in Everett. For several years he was a bookkeeper for the Waterville Rochdelle Store and also served as teller for the Douglas County Bank. In 1913 he took over the operation of his father’s ranch, which he had continued to run since. Mr. Clark was a veteran member of Waterville Independent Order of Odd Fellows and Big Bend Encampment No. 85.
Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Charlotte Clark of Waterville; one brother, Elliott of Waterville; three sisters, Mrs. Grace Simmons of Valier, Montana, Mrs. Anabel Zones of Waterville, and Mrs. Myra Hansen of Wenatchee.

HARRY THOMAS CLARK -- Services will be held Saturday, 2 p.m., in the Federated Church at Waterville, with Rev. Dean King officiating. Federated Men’s quarter will sing--with Mrs. Robert Gollehon, organist. Waterville IOOF No. 57 will conduct burial services. Friends wishing to see Mr. Clark may do so at the Thomas Funeral Home prior to services. Interment will be in the Waterville Cemetery. Thomas Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
